Do heart attack victims qualify for disability?

I'm an ex-trucker of 22 years and have had 3 silent heart attacks and 1 major attack that resulted in open heart surgery (CABG 5) which mean's they used the arteries in my left leg and the one across my chest to rebuild the arteries in my heart. Now i'm a type 2 diabetic and suffer from several other medical problem's. i can no longer drive a semi because of my health, but have been denied disability. Do heart attack victims qualify?
