Is a spouse legally eligible to participate in health/med benefits pkgs provided by estranged spouse employer?

i am permanantly disabled (pending workers comp case), receiving social security. i am no longer eligible for health benefits through.my employer, throughout my 20+ years of employment with the same company, i carried my spouse on my plan. now separated, is my estranged spouse in any way legally bound or obligated to provide these benefits to me? with litigation pending, when i receive my montary consideration or settlement, will i be required to alot any monies to my spouse
