Can the runt of the litter grow up to be ...?

Who knows for sure. We bred our Standard Poodles one time and they had 12 pups. The smallest one was sickly starting around 2 weeks old. He inhaled milk into his lungs and constantly had a runny nose. We called him Snot Nose. Sold all the pups but placed two with our two son's families. Snot Nose (Duke) went to Kansas with our son. He is nine years old now and outweighs all the other pups. He is over 100 pounds and towered over his mom and dad. Just a beautiful, clic Standard. Our other son took Maple and she is the smallest one now. She was normal size when they took her. Go figure.
