Can I learn Brazilian Portuguese fluently in the Boston area?

I live in the "Little Brazil" area of Boston and I decided that I would like to learn Portuguese. I have so many friends who speak portuguese and I'm planning on taking a Portuguese cl and a Capoeira cl. Do you think I could become fluent?... and how long will it take me to become conversational if I immerse myself? I once tried to do this with French with my friends who are French, but they were impatient and didn't want to teach me. It seems that Brazilians are always happy to teach others their beautiful language. I already have an understanding of Spanish and Italian. Obrigado!
