How can i get rid of wood boring bees?

i have a deck and these large bees start burrowing into the wood of my deck ive tried spraying each one as i see them but they just keep comming. i dont see our neighbors using this method either. there are also wasps that hang around and they like to make nests neer by too. how can i keep all these away
