Im not sure if the lady i got into an accident is milking me out money.shes still in the hospital.wat can i do

here's what happened.i got into an accident few weeks ago.the pavement was wet and slippery coz it rained at that time. i had a stick shift car with only basic insurance. i lost control of my car when turning a sharp curve where there was a puddle just sitting in my lane.as soon as im about to turn, i shifted down to 15 but instead of the car turning where its supposed to turn, my tires lost traction to the pavement and there she was in front of me..the damage of our car is at the drivers front. we both stopped at the middle of our lane, no airbags deployed.few seconds, she accelerated and went straight to the fence, that is where things went worst. her airbag deployed and that is where she got her injury..a cut in her arm.i only had a whiplash. they said it was my fault. but i dont think its all my fault that things went worst.i have 2 tickets and guessing they would file a lawsuit to me..what should it do?and her bill in the hospital is more than $20,000..what should i do?
