Spaying after care on a female cat.?

hey i have just had my cat spayed today, i have a care sheet from the vets and asked a few questions, so feel pretty confident on most of the recovery, But, the only thing im unsure on is how to prevent her from jumping up, she loves to climb and i'm trying to think of how to stop her. i've also been told only to let her have supervised interaction with my other cat, they have said possibly for 10 day depending on her recovery, wondered if anyone else has been in the same situation and how long they left it. I feel really cruel doing it too :( they are usually inseparable and spend every moment together! Any thoughts or comment would be appreciated. Thanks
