Why are there so many white entertainers...we need more non-white entertainers in hollywood?

the oscars were a very vanilla event. why do mostly caucasians get to be stars? why can't we see more brothers or latinos or asians or even indian people in hollywood? why is there only like four black action stars...will smith, denzel and samuel jackson...and morgan freeman? and no latino action stars? why is hollywood so white? it's 2011...we need more variety.
