Why won't my iPod turn on?

I was messing with it, and decided to go to the diagnostics menu, and i went to power, and i hit reset, and now it won't turn back on. I'm getting a new one soon anyway, but i wanted to know if there was anyway to get it to turn back on so maybe i could pawn it or something
